How to play
Find the exit gateIt glows on the east side of the maze. Your lantern only lights the squares right around you.
Move by compassUse the N, E, S, W buttons or the arrow keys. North is always at the top. Corn walls block your way.
Follow each clueClues tell you how many steps and which direction. Pumpkins often mark a turn. Reach the spot and a new clue appears.
Peek if you mustThe moon can light the whole maze for 3 seconds, twice per maze. Each peek counts as a slip.
The three trails
Compass Rose: clear labels and step counters. Foggy Compass: the labels blur away, so keep the rose in your head. Riddle Roadblocks: fog plus three scarecrows whose riddles you must answer to pass.
Slips and ranks
Every wrong turn, missed riddle answer, and map peek is one slip. Fewer slips, higher rank. Each lantern flame below shows how close that rank is to a perfect run.
